DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE EDUCATION

The Department of English currently offers ENGLISH AS SINGLE MAJOR and ENGLISH AS DOUBLE MAJOR at the NCE Level. Though the philosophy, objectives, and admission requirements of the two divides are the same, there are similarities and differences in the courses mounted for Single Major and Double Major students. Again, while students offering English as Single Major combine English and any other approved discipline, students in English Double Major do not combine English and any other discipline.

  3. to equip students to teach English Language and Literature effectively at the Basic Education level; and
  4. to prepare students for further studies.
